Every parent thinks that his/her kid is unique, but the great majority of those "unique" children used to come together in public schools. Kids (and society as a whole) lose so much when they are sorted into think-alike groups and think-alike schools, with no chance to meet kids from other backgrounds, religions, ideas, politics.
Yes, I too have questions. I’m confused by the verb tense here. Are you saying you are currently the only student in a micro-school? Are you using microschool as a synonym for homeschool? Or life long learning? Was your neighbor instrumental in your education as a child or currently as an adult? As a homeschool parent and lifelong learner, I sincerely would like to know more. 💕
