A better world is possible

Friend of this newsletter Sarah O. in Chicago wrote me the other day after my thing came out about getting a colonoscopy and thanked me for putting out stories. She said that they were a “lifeline in an otherwise dark and scary time.” I said I felt a bit inadequate, that what I wrote did not often seem to be of much consequence, and she said they were “of much consequence” to her right now. I told her I would write an extra story this week just for her. I hope there is some pleasure to be found here for her and others.
