Oregon Road Trip Part One

Sad things are ignored. Ugly dresses are seen. Bad water is drunk.

I have decided that when I paywall an article I am paywalling the whole gd thing. One woman who I met randomly told me that she enjoyed reading “the short versions” of my essays. Last week a person who is an actual friend said my first paragraphs were “so satisfying on their own” she just read those. She meant this as a compliment. Respect to my friend, but this is going to be my first paragraph every week from now on. I hope you will enjoy reading it for the rest of my life.
